AUGUSTA METRO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce is the largest business membership organization in the CSRA. Membership is open to all businesses and organizations interested in enhancing the overall growth of the Augusta Region as well as investing in a multitude of opportunities that will maximize their growth and opportunity. 

The mission of the Chamber has three components:

• Serving as the voice for business in matters of public policy and legislative affairs
• Working to promote the region as a partner in economic development
• Providing programs and services to our members that enhance their profitability, productivity, and overall success.

UMBC Training CentERs

UMBC is a dynamic public research university integrating teaching, research and service to best serve our students, the business community, the government and our nation. The Carnegie Foundation ranks UMBC in the category of Research Universities with high research activity, and UMBC is among the top 3 universities in the U.S. in the production of IT degrees, according to the National Science Foundation.

The Economic Alliance was created to serve as a not-for-profit economic development organization led by a partnership of regional business executives, elected government officials and leaders from higher education focused on fostering business retention and development, job creation, workforce development and new investment throughout the Greater Baltimore region.
